3rd Sunday of Easter

AS WE GATHER
During the Sundays of Easter, we come to rejoice in the lasting effects of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. One of those effects is the fellowship we share as the Body of Christ. Yes, pray for the peace and blessing of those who share in Jesus’ name. At every opportunity greet your sisters and brothers as the “no mere mortals” (C.S. Lewis) they are, those for whom Christ died and rose again. Where, in his first letter, John brings us to a deeper appreciation for fellowship in Christ’s name. Rejoice
in this, and the true character of Christian love, faith and good works. Founded on Christ, our life together is ever expanding to bring others in. He is risen, indeed!
