AS WE GATHER
The long season of Pentecost gifts us with plenteous opportunities to feed upon the Lord’s life-giving grain. As we hasten onward through this “season of green,” we arrive at the second of our four-week series entitled, “Life in the Spirit.” With Romans 8 as our guide, we come to a renewed appreciation for the saving work of the Holy Spirit, poured out and into prophets, priests and kings, and now, in our own day, on and into us as well. It is this Spirit who brings God’s life-saving message into our midst and assures us of the hope we possess in Christ. Welcome to worship. O Holy Spirit, come!
