3rd Sunday of Advent
December 14, 2025
AS WE GATHER
The season of Advent is about a Savior who has come, who comes to us now, and who will come again. The purpose of this coming of the Son of God has one aim – you, and your life in Christ. From His birth to His ascension, God’s desire is to see each one of His children home. Therefore, rejoice this day at His gracious coming. It is this coming, into our hearts and lives, received by faith, that brings us to Him, and into His story of redemption. As He has come, we prepare ourselves in repentant joy to receive Him, who humbly yet powerfully still comes to us by His Holy Spirit. As our Advent journey hastens on, rejoice to be written into that story! Then, rejoice to respond to His gift of grace: a gift for the Gift! Welcome to the Nativity! Welcome to worship!
